No additions to the stash.  I did mail a bit as a gift--25 noodles!  About 1 3/4 yards.  Its so nice to be able to send these gifts--how often were you making a project and wished for a bit of variety in one color family or type of fabric?  My totals for the year are--

6.75 yards In YTD
1.75 yards Out This Week
8.25 yards Out YTD
Stash Decreased by 1.5 yards

Check everyone's numbers here.

Week in Review--

I'd had a busy week.  Spring is coming (yes, finally!) and being married to a part time farmer, we've been on the road looking at planters.  I rode along on Thursday and Friday, and Ken went by himself on Saturday.  No planter bought, but MANY were viewed.   I did make more Two Lips blocks but didn't have brain enough to handle prepping some Cherry Tree blocks.  Same way with borders, I'm sure I would have cut them too short or some other error!  (No brain because of head cold.)

But I have this question--since most of us are quilters--what's on YOUR bed?  I have a scrappy log cabin that is several years old.

I LOVE this quilt--but maybe I should swap it out for a more spring-like quilt?

Why change the quilt if you love this one?

Great way to get rid of some stash- give it away! Love your Log Cabin Quilt. I have a red and white feathered star on my bed, but am making a new quilt this year to replace.

I adore log cabin quilts! I could look at one of those all the live long day. What do I have on my bed right this minute? An IKEA duvet stuffed with a thick down comforter...spring has not arrived in MN just yet, but when it does there will be a Thimbleberries House and Garden quilt on my bed once again...never did post that finish last spring. Huh.

I have a log cabin on my bed too! As soon as I finish my blue Favorite Things quilt, it will be my bed quilt!

If you love your LCQ, use it. I have a pastel one that is very old. I love it and use it year round. It makes me happy.

Glad to help with the stash busting. I would say that's a year-round quilt unless you have one that you really want to use instead. I love log cabins, too.

uh, actually you can see what's on my bed in my last post.....if you look under (and in one case over) the cats that is. There's a 15 yr old store bought comforter my husband REFUSES to part with. God alone knows why not. And a heavy thing I crocheted in college. God alone knows why.
