Saturday Snooze

Yesterday I planted my tomato plants.  All six of them.  I think they look lonely.

Will I harvest any tomatoes before it freezes?  I hope so!  I'm hungry for a tomato sandwich.   Ken is spending time camping doing what he really enjoys---

Napping!  There's a husband under that blanket somewhere.    Tonight we'll grill burgers--Ken LOVES burgers.   Baked a hot milk sponge cake and the grocery store had wonderful strawberries on special.  A quiet weekend camping for Father's Day.   I wanted to sew, but I might wake him, so I'll read blogs instead.  I'm almost caught up with my google reader!
Do you have plans for Father's Day??

Plans? What are those when you have kids. We just had to shave two heads because Screamer did some hair cutting! That was NOT part of my plans.

If the summer is as long as the winter was there will be plenty of time for the tomatoes to get ripe.

Father's Day plans?? Not really. Grandson Tyler is here this weekend so his mom will pick him up tomorrow morning. Son Allen may stop in...or not. Just hanging loose here.

Hope your tomato plants grow and produce some fruit. My plants are growing oh so slowly in this chilly summertime weather we are enjoying - ha. I will say that the cooler temps seems to have worked well for the perennials, the gardens are looking fabulous this year. Hope all is going well at your campground this season.

I hope you get tomatoes! I bought a grape tomato plant and a Tiny Totems miniature tomato plant in May, and have had tomatoes off both, with lots more to come. I just get the plants at Kroger, and this is the second year I've had good luck.

I hope summer goes late in SD!
