Design Wall Monday and Weekly Goals

Monday, January 7, 2013
All the rows of the Trip Around the World top are sewn together.

Much more pastel/blended than what I usually make.  The border will be the same mint green as the edge triangles.   I love the pattern, but hated the method used to make it.  I thought I would NEVER get all those rows sewn together!!  Why is it I dislike this method--but love those silly yoyo's???  Check everyone's design wall at Patchwork Times!

Weekly Goals--
  1. one yoyo block
  2. load/quilt Sailboat quilt
  3. one pillowcase
  4. work on a UFO
That's enough for this week--I'm sure I won't get them all done--but plenty of choice in the list!

It is quite pastel, but I love the dark contrasts. Sounds like another busy week ahead! Blanche Young's method is not too bad. Not sure what method you used.

It looks great. I like the pastels in it.

I like the pastels, too. The construction would have driven me insane.

Have a good week.

We all have our likes and dislikes, whether they make sense or not. :)

looks great. I have always wanted to make one of these quilts but the method of assembly scared me off all these years. I wonder who has a great way to assemble it?

You always have something going on with a quilt or maybe I should guess that it is more like TEN. I love checking in on you.
