Design Wall Monday and Weekly Goals

Monkey Wrench/9 Patch blocks are being worked on.  Enough 2.5" squares are sewn and pressed into rows for fifteen 16 patch blocks.  I had to put one together--

Playing with my 2.5" squares is fun.  Although the same fabrics are in my album blocks, I know the next project will have a totally different look.  Please see what everyone is working on at Patchwork Times.

There is a small flower bed by my camper.  Although it had a late start, the seeds planted are going crazy.

Lots of old fashioned zinnias.  Zinnias remind me of my grandmother and its a very good memory.  One zinnia has a splotch of color on it--

Some have stripes--

Some have freckles--

Zinnias are one of my favorite flowers!

Weekly Goals--

Finish Monkey Wrench/9 Patch blocks
Two R/W/B album blocks
More 16 patch blocks

Its shaping up into a busy week.  Beautiful weather with warm days and cool nights.

Zinnias have always signified "Autumn" to me. I love the color variety that you have in your flower patch, especially the one with the red in e center.

It's getting cooler here - snow falling in the mountains. It was 23 degrees in Big Piney, WY one morning last week. That's a bit to chilly for my thin, summer blood.

I love zinnias, too. I love that they can be tall or short and come is a rainbow of colors. Have fun with your blocks.

The zinnias are gorgeous! I love playing with scraps. You are always surprised with how hey come together and never know what fabric is going to make an appearance. Good luck on your goals this week!

Zinnias always make me think of my mom and my childhood home because she always had lots of zinnias next to the house. I've seen a lot of them this summer and have decided that next summer I will have some too. These are gorgeous!
