Rainbow Scrappy Saturday--BROWN!

This can't be the last of the brown blocks--

Three Jacob's Ladder blocks.  They aren't distorted, but hung a bit crooked during the picture.  More brown blocks are planned over the weekend, just can't get enough brown!  Please see everyone's brown projects at SoScrappy.

Time to check my goals--

Load a top on the Princess-loaded, quilted and off!
Finish more Alletaire blocks-Yes, started sewing them in rows
Find backing for 4 patch/guild squares top-decided to dye one
Put another set of blocks on the design wall-used a sheet on the bed to lay out the R/W/B album blocks
Hand sew more binding-Yes
Look at Beach Party-No

Its been a productive week.  Friday Lorri2Rs and I met in Sioux Falls, did a little shopping and attended the Grand Opening of a quilt store (they moved to a bigger nicer location).  We signed up for door prizes, wouldn't it be great if we won something??!!  I bought a little fabric in support of the new store, I will have additions to my stash report.

There is nothing but sewing planned for the weekend.  What could be better??

I absolutely adore your Scrappy Jakes!! They really showcase the Color of the Month without being all about that color.

Really like your Jacobs ladder blocks. That is on my "quilty bucket list"!!!! Good luck on winning a door prize! It's always so exciting when a new or bigger quilt shop opens near you! I love supporting the "little" guys in this world of big business!!

I had thought about doing Jacob's Ladders for RSC - seeing your blocks makes me wish I had gone ahead with the plan! They're beautiful!

It's so nice to hear from a fan of brown. Enjoy to your heart's content. Your blocks turned out well and you have a nice long list.

Jacob's Ladder is a great scrap buster. Lovely blocks. Two more days for brown. I wonder what March will bring?

Love your scrappy Jacobs Ladders. I did them in 2014 for the RSC.
Love, love, love your daffies in the banner photo.

Which quilt shop moved and where did it go?

The Jacob's Ladder blocks are starting to add up I'm sure. They always make such striking designs when they are put together.

Sounds like a great weekend! Good luck and hope they draw your name for a door prize. I'm off to shower and then pin and quilt a quilt. Can't wait to play with my machine.

What great blocks! I also like the fact they aren't just brown and pink. Will have to keep that in mind for myself...
