We got a little over an...That's a lot of rain! We got a little over an inch. Sure have been enjoying these beautiful days...even though I spend most of them inside canning, canning, canning. In between I made a Halloween table topper for the Quilt Club door prize and made a sample Halloween wall hanging for the meeting project. All I had was a picture I had found on the Internet and had to make the sample and write the pattern from that. I like the way mine turned out and I hope the others get theirs finished for Halloween too. The table topper turned out cute and I may have to make one for myself, though maybe a little smaller...2" strips instead of 2 1/2". The last couple days I've been pressing & counting the little 3 1/2" Spool blocks for the Spoolin' Around quilt from Bonnie Hunter. The Delectable Mountain blocks I started at our retreat in August are finished & mellowing in their container until there is time to put them together.
