Monday Goals

Goals for the week.  I will continue to work on my camper projects and my swap blocks.

This weekend we attended an out of town wedding.   We hadn't been to a wedding held outside for a long time.  The weather cooperated, it wasn't terribly hot, and it flowed smoothly.

On the way home we stopped and priced new doors with frames and storm doors for the back door.  I think we've narrowed it down.

And yes, it is again raining.  Maybe it will be a passing shower?  Maybe not, it's raining pretty heavy.

And I've ordered a camera.  Decided to buy the one with what I felt had the best reviews.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH20 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 8x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Blue)

I hope it arrives soon.  Has anyone tried this camera??  I wanted it to be easy to use and have a flash you can turn off.  I didn't want to spend a lot of money either.

What camera do you use and why???

Woke up to thunder & lightning about 3:45 this morning but went right back to sleep. There are puddles, so guess it rained here too.

That looks like a nice camera. I've read good things about the Panasonics. I got a similar Canon because I like to have a viewfinder. It's always hard to see anything on those little screens when trying to take picture in the bright sunlight.

Hope you dry out soon! better rain than snow? maybe?

DH brought me the same camera when my Cannon Sure Shot died except my Lumix is a 12x. It is pretty simple to use as I am techno~challenged!

I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ-35. It's my second Lumix, and I love both cameras. They use good lenses in their cameras. I think you made a good choice!

I'm glad the weather held up for the wedding. I imagine it must be hard to plan an outdoor wedding especially when you can't predict the weather. I have a Lumix DMC-ZR1 and it's the red one for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. I noticed in the opening ceremonies, all the athletes were snapping pics with this model. I like it's ease of use. My son has a better but older model and he loves it too.

We bought ours almost 4 years ago now, and at that time, 7 megapixels was a big deal. It's all we have, but it is bulky to carry around and I've been wanting one small enough to fit in my purse, but that takes good pictures. That looks as if it would fill the bill.
