Rainbow Scrappy Challenge--PINK

Saturday, July 23, 2016
This week I made four Arrowhead blocks--

Ken brought some of my pink stash to the camper, a special request was that he find the fabric with cupcakes on it.

Ken was very brave, here are current pictures of my sewing room--

My cutting table--

Most my pink stash was neatly folded.  Unfortunately the cupcake fabric was not!  But my wonderful dear husband found it!  True love!!  Please see everyone's pink projects at SoScrappy.

This week the mailman brought me new FitBit wristbands.  This one reminds me of quilting--

Heat index today is 111F.  HOT and HUMID!  The air is like breathing in jello.

Its too hot, my brain has quit.  Nothing to write about!

Glad to know that my studio looks normal...........

If we can just get through today the weather should start cooling off a little tomorrow.

I have pictures of my old sewing room very similar to yours...maybe a bit more cluttered. That was in the days when I sewed for craft sales. When I finished one project I just tossed everything (ala Eleanor Burns) and dashed on to the next thing. Nothing got put away or straightened up until the show season was over.

So you sent DH to dig in your stash............ how brave. lol My DH is good at bringing me boxes of stash and moving them around, but no digging. (g)

OMG!!! WHY didn't you TELL us that your sewing room had been hit by a tornado?!?!? LOL

Mine looked something like that during the middle of my Decrapification Project (and honestly doesn't feel like it's looking much different now!) Creative clutter at it finest.

Looks like a normal sewing room to me... 8)

Looks like my room. Love your pink arrow head blocks. Where did you find the pattern or is it your design?

The blocks are wonderful! I love honest sewing room photos!

It's been hot here, but thankfully not humid. Stay hydrated.

Yep, that sewing room looks pretty normal. My fabric is usually pretty neat, but Keryn is dreadful at putting fabric away, she has piles upon piles upon piles. We're sorting it out now because her son is coming for a visit and has to sleep in her sewing room! It's like an archaeological dig....

Cool Arrowhead blocks. Our air is like breathing in jello also, even in the shade.

Oh, I thought you sneaked in and took photos of my sewing room. Yes, you have a true love, indeed. No a/c here so I'm not only breathing in jello but my brain has turned into it!

Here the temperature has only been in the 90's, which is about as hot as it gets but it's ALWAYS humid here! I can't imagine how it is to be breathing jello. In spite of the heat you made some nice pink blocks, and your sewing room looks normal to me: as long as YOU know where everything is!!

Well, what an interesting sewing room! Do you have 14 cats?? LOL. Seriously, straightening up was NOT taught in quilting school, so you are in good company.

Can I come clean your sewing room for you? But it needs to be cooler first!

yes, I usually like to spend summers out on the porch but it's crazy hot and humid.
love the fitbit. AND love the studio, makes me feel right at home. I let a friend see mine last week, in all it's overcrowded messy glory. She had nothing to say!

I see that the chair is clear and so is the path to the sewing machine; what else matters? The arrowhead blocks are so pretty! Thank goodness cooler weather has now arrived.

I agree with Vic. As long as it is functional by your definition, it's perfectly normal. What a wonderful husband you have! And your pink blocks are sweet. Can't wait to see what you do with the cupcakes. They say cooler weather this week, hopefully no more jello weather.

That is the best Fitbit band I've seen so far. Very fun. Where did you find such a fun band?

Your sewing room looks a lot like mine right now and I doubt that my husband would have been brave enough to find something in mine.
