Design Wall Monday and Weekly Goals

Fall in the City is still on the design wall---

All the rows have the vertical sashings and I'm sewing them together.  Please see everyone's design wall posts at Patchwork Times.

Over the weekend I made RSC blocks--

Red and Teal Spool blocks.

Ritzy Cracker blocks.

Next I started sorting and folding stash I had pulled out to audition---

Its sorted into backing size, border possibilities, and FQs.  Some projects are stored in totes with their fabrics.  Scraps are in a basket and chunks are waiting to be chopped!

Stash Report--

Stash in--3 yards
Stash in YTD--35 yards
Stash out--4.75 yards
Stash out YTD--16.75 yards

Stash is ahead 18.75 yards!
Stash out--12 yards

I bought a layer cake, but finished a quilt using 4.75 yards for the backing.  Mary in SD provided the rest.  Thank you Mary!

Weekly Goals--

Fall in the City
Sew more binding

Very small goals this week.  A plumber is coming this week and I need to move things from a storage closet so he can access the pipes.  Dr appt and then Lorri2Rs will be here for a week.  So not sure what kind of goals I can make!

Its cold and blustery here.  Snowed a little.  UGH!  PLEASE SEND SPRING!

Fall in the City appeals to my eye - nice clean lines and scrappy, too. I love it.

Just think of the snow as your sign that it's a "sewing week".

I have to agree with Nancy about the Fall in the City quilt - it does have such a nice geometric look. Love it.

That's a great quilt, similar to one I did but it was rectangles, by Cluck Cluck Sew. Lots of fun. RSC projects are looking good!

A little snow on the ground here too, as well as cold. At least the wind isn't as crazy as yesterday. Lord knows what you and your sewing buddy will get up to, but I bet you get a lot of sewing done. Spring can't come too soon!
