Time for Rainbow Scrappy Challenge blocks--I'm still doing green--

These are some of my Apple Crisp blocks--green centers or a green round.  I could do green for a year and never be tired of it!  Please see everyone's RSC projects at SoScrappy.

No posts for a while.  I've had a nasty toothache but its better, I had it pulled on Wednesday.  Now just sore and antibiotics.

A few random pictures--

Lots of kids come to the Visitor Center.  Water safety tattoos are fun, this young man posed with his.

Mason is growing like a weed, he'll be a 2nd grader this year.

Asher is four and can hardly wait to start preschool.

Maxwell is one and has an easy going nature.

All the boys helped fill the bird feeders.  Mason got them down, Asher was busy scooping birdseed, and Maxwell thought the bird seed was to eat!

Although I didn't feel like sewing, I did plan some new starts for this fall.  Tuesday Ken and I road tripped, I stopped at JoAnns for thread and found their Country Solids on sale, the light yellow I've been wanting for background.  I bought all they had, 8 yards.  Sometimes I want a light background that isn't white or cream.  This is perfect.

I have an Android Tablet.  There is a free app called "Notebooks Pro".  Its a great way to have lists handy.  There is the shopping list, the "Ken" list (things I need to ask Ken to bring to the camper) and my "Quilt List"--new starts I've planned.  You can have oodles of notebooks with lists!

The weather has been beautiful, over the 4th it was perfect, usually didn't need the air conditioner on.   Its warmer now but still only low 80's.

For fun I took pictures at night outside my camper.

My flag is out 24hrs a day,  I have 3 solar spotlights for it.

I've thought before that I could sew with blue for a year and still hardly make a dent! Have fun with your green.

The boys are so big! Where has the time gone?

Can't believe how those boys have changed. We need to slow down time so those grandkids don't grow up too fast.

Love those simple green blocks.

Pretty blocks! I'm so glad that you were able to wait until July to have your tooth pulled because I think that is when you said that your insurance coverage kicks in? Anyway, now that nightmare is over. Good riddance to toothaches!

Pretty in GREEN just doesn't have the same ring to it, but I agree that I could sew with it all year. I'm off to sew some HOT PINK blocks. Have FUN no matter what color scraps you are using!!

Your grandsons have grown so much....I can remember when the first one was a baby. Time just goes by too fast.

Green blocks are looking good, as are your grandsons.

Best wishes as you recover from the toothache. I've been down with an intestinal bug - getting back to close-to-normal again but not even close to full speed. Like the idea of running lists - I use them too (in a different format).
