Sewing--well, I've thought about it! Moved my totes around. Used my seam ripper to remove the hem on a pair of pants. Does that count??
I volunteer early in the week, and then will head home to help Ken with farming. He SAYS he just needs help moving equipment from field to field. And lunch.
Weekly Goals--
- Applique on Cherry Tree blocks
- Plan Blue/White swap blocks
- Sew on a UFO
Yes, the same goals as last week.
I have been experimenting with my gas oven at the camper. Last night made a small pan of peanut butter bars. A bit overdone, I need to bring my oven thermometer to check the temperature. Tonight I will try baking a casserole.

Crazy weather isn't it? Early last week I had a fan running all night because it was too warm, then for the second part of the week the furnace ran & DH closed all the storm windows again. I vote for 75 degrees & a gentle breeze.
Do you have a baking stone that will fit your camper oven? I read quite a few full-time RVer blogs and quite a few recommend putting one in the bottom of your oven to help it bake evenly. Might be worth trying.
If you're baking then you can turn off the heat. On heat source for another. I feel like turning on the heat here. It's really chilly and where is spring? All it seems to do is rain.
Yum, peanut butter bars! We had blackberry winter last weekend, but I think the frost is gone for the summer finally.
