Rainbow Scrap Challenge-Pink

Saturday, January 26, 2013
These are the last of my pink cake stand blocks.  The navy blue was a remnant of backing, and the pink toile was just big enough to make these two blocks.

I suspect the pink bit was a leftover of Henrietta's.   Pink is a hard color for me to work with.   Check to see what other pink projects are being sewn at soscrappy!

The last of your pink looks pretty with the blue. They will make a nice addition to your collection at the end of the year.

I love cakestand blocks and yours are very pretty. Are you going to make a scrappy quilt from all of them?

I don't much care for pink either!

Very pretty blocks. Even though I have daughter, she's not into pink. Strangely, I have quite a bit of pink in my stash. Not sure how that happened.

Almost all of my pink scraps came from the girls, so I hear you about working with pink!

Your blocks are lovely. Love the pink and blue together. The trees covered in snow is wonderful (Vermonter transplanted to FL).

Lori, I love navy and pink. My daughter's baby room was navy and pink, these blocks would have been perfect. I hand quilted her a big quilt, however it took too many years and she had changed her colour scheme. Now that you've reminded me, I shall do a blog post on that quilt.

Lori,
I love checking in on you. Seems you always have something wonderful to share.
Scrappy is practical, and always seems to make me feel cozy and loved when I make one.

Very nice! The pink and navy isn't a combo you see much, but it looks great!

Yep, that is one of my toiles. Got used as a backing on something very pink, I am thinking Pink Salad.
