Packages have arrived at my house! 14 yards of wide backing fabric. I don't like to piece backings for large quilts, its much easier to use wide backing on them.
Stash In--14 yards
Stash Out--0 yards
Stash in YTD--49 yards
Stash Out YTD--17.5 yards
Stash is ahead--31.5 yards
I'm feeling quite good about my stash reports. Several finished tops waiting for me to quilt them. And the goal of "moving ONE UFO ONE step each month is working. Monday I will pick an April project. See everyone's stash report at Patchwork Times.
Wishing you a Happy Easter!

Somehow, backings bought should not count? LOL Happy Easter!
Happy Easter. It sounds like you have a few finishes waiting in the wings to boost your out totals. Hope those take you all the way to the black on the stash report.
I agree about piecing backings. I enjoy reading your blog, you are certainly getting a lot accomplished. Happy Easter.
Happy Easter to you. When those quilts get quilted, your numbers will soar to the black column!
Do you know I almost used that same picture for my Easter blog??
The wide backing is great for bigger quilts. I have noticed though that it isn't always as good a quality as the 45" fabrics. Actually pretty chintzy sometimes. I have so much fabric that I feel guilty when I don't piece backings and I think I'll get rid of a bunch of the old oranges, and maybe some more of that teal blue, on the back of Hailey's quilt. Those are colors I just don't use much of otherwise.
Happy Easter to you and Ken.
Backings are enhancements and thus necessary. You'll be in the black in no time!
The tulips made me smile. Saw about 30 robins on Southeastern Ave. This morning on my way to Easter brunch. Spring is coming to South Dakota!
Backings are a necessary to finish those UFO's. So it won't sit long in the stash!!! Happy Easter to you and yours!
Happy
belated Easter to you.
Thank you for the kind words for my kitty cats, I really do miss my helpers. No more "spandex" at this house. My last kitty is 15 and we barely take her in for grooms.
We have had a very rough new year here. I'm hoping for happier times. My daughter just came thru her 6 week post cancer surgery, first check up-- no cancer.
