Friday sucks and I'm not motivated! Why? Had my dentist appointment this morning, and I will be waiting for the oral surgeon. My tooth that had a root canal two years ago now has several cracks and a bad abcess under it. And, another tooth also has an abcess, but since I've had two rounds of strong antibiotics, they will wait to see if it needs 1)a root canal or 2)pull it. I brush my teeth faithfully, floss, and use a mouthwash. I had "minimal tartar" the hygeniest said. So why all the problems??!! Must be that "A" word--AGE! Arrrggghhh!
So I haven't sewn. Nada. Nothing. Today I will go into my sewing room and try to feel motivated. Put on some inspiring music! But I really feel more like Mason in this picture---
I WANT MY MOMMY!!!

Tooth problems suck! Been there, done that. I have no molars left on the lower right side. One broke, had it capped then a few years later it got an abcess. After a couple rounds of that I had it pulled. The one next to it had a large filling, also developed infection at the root, then a couple large pieces broke off & I had it pulled. I'd been taking so much Motrin to keep the inflammation down that my stomach started acting up & still have a little bit of a problem with that. My motto is "get 'em pulled". It probably is an age thing, we're just falling apart, little pieces at a time. Happy thought, huh?
Oh my, I'm so sorry! Icky tooth problems.
LIke you, I want MY Mommy - we never get over THAT feeling. 8-)
I am in total sympathy with you there! I cannot tell you what all I have been through with my mouth--multiple root canals, dry sockets, abscesses, gum grafting,--the list just goes on and on. And nothing ever goes according to the book. There have been so many times I've declared "Just pull them all and give me new ones!" But dentists don't like to hear that. They say it's better to have your own teeth, but I think it's just more money for them.
i agree with the rest of the comments--have the bad ones pulled and get it over with. a tooth that's not there can't hurt any more.
I laughed when you said you look like Mason in the picture! Oh, I feel for you.... And the motivation having left, I completely get. But, remember, the motativation comes in the doing, so you are headed in the right direction by going into your room and doing something... your motivation will find you.
This tooth thing. YUCK!! I had a root canal when I was quite young, so I hope what ever they do for you works... Pulling a tooth, that is not a thing I would want - but you don't also need the problems that a bad tooth brings you.
I hope you stop feeling like Mason soon. But he is a cutie!!! Take the day to sew and get lost in the process - remember to stop for coffe and snacks occasionaly, and then back to the ceative mode...Dr.s orders!! (no, I am not a Dr. but for today, I could be!!)
I am sorry to hear that your teeth are giving you problems though. I hope it is not to bad of a thing.
poor Lori...if I was there I would give you a hug (and maybe a shot of Black Jack~LOL)
well commere and gimme a hug!!
it's not age by the way, it's genetics. go yell at your dad...then you'll feel better!
