Sunday Stash Reports roll around fast when you've bought fabric! When I was plodding along not getting much done, I didn't have anything to report!
This week I finished the Serenity quilt--that used 13 yards. And the blue and cream Irish chain used 15--so that's 28 yards used. But, uh, I bought 35 yards the other day. Oh, I don't regret any of it, three jelly rolls, a charm pack, and a piece of pink, brown, and rust, colors I am low on. And a piece to coordinate for some backing. So I feel good about my purchases, they were needed! And, I bought them all on sale and even used a 60% off coupon on the backing! So that made them even better!~
So that puts me -7 yds for the year. But I'm still feeling good about my stash! Thanks Judy, I'm buying much more responsibly!

Congrats on the finishes...and when fabric is needed, well I think it is ok to buy!
I agree with your feeling about stashes. I have also gotten my stash organized and I am sewing a lot more and enjoying it!

At least you have some finishes! VBG Since April, I seem to be going backwards with my stash busting. I love my purchases, too.

Had a urge to sew-(that must have been you pushing me) :-) have 4 blocks done for Thimbleberries, also finished a block for a round robin. That is the most I've sewn all month.

Don't worry about the fabric you bought. How can you pass up 60%off on backing fabric. It is great feeling to have finished projects...good for you!

Buying responsibilly that is the key. We need to keep our quilt shops in business. I'm saving up for a trip to my favorite shop on Friday. I actually have a gift-certificate. Fun!
