I'm Finding It Hard To Type

I keep my laptop in front of the couch on a small folding table. Kinda like a hospital table but on a much smaller scale. It's very handy. So handy my friend can get underneath it and stare at me.

Although she is a very quiet dog, she does like to be close to you. As close as possible without getting on the furniture! The other day I was sewing and she was laying underneath the machine, she would lift her head so I could use the foot pedal, with her head on top my foot! She's not a little dog, so she had to squeeze to fit under the machine. But she is great company and I do enjoy her!

And you may notice I have my heavy fleece housecoat on. And when I walk her at night, yup, that's what I wear. And on my feet, designer footwear!

Wool socks, my fuzzy slippers inside Ken's slippers! Hey, it's cold out, and I walk Ruby when it's very very dark, my neighbors are all asleep and can't see me--thank goodness!! My housecoat is very long, I had to pull it up a bit to take the picture.

Today my sister and her husband brought over a box from cleaning his mother's house. Oh dear, the contents were a gift, so do I have to count it on the stash report? Tomorrow I will show pictures of all the stuff that's in there. Well, maybe a peek!

Some transferware saucers!

They are berry bowls, saucers have a circular indentation to keep the cup centered.

My little Max is the same way with needing to be in close proximity. Although he is a lap dog and doesn't understand the need to use my hands and arms for sewing. He'd happy if I was holding him 24/7! But that's not convenient when I'm trying to sew!

Such devotion from that dog! What a dear! 8-)))

Those little berry dishes are so sweet and now I'm curious to see what else is in the box.

Love the pictures of your dog. My Rusty is on my lap, across my arm as I type this. We are both wrapped in a polar fleece blanket.

Love the vintage fabrics. I love 30's fabric. You'll have a super quilt.

Tandi's almost like that, though she's a bit uncertain about noises, like sewing machine noises, hair dryers, etc. But when I'm in the kitchen, I have to do what I call "The Cocker Dodge" to keep from tripping over her and killing or maiming one of us.

ruby the quilting dog sounds like my Speedy the cat. She actually climbs up ontop of whatever I'm quilting. I had a heck of a time trying to convince her to at least lay down UNDERNEATH the wall hanging last night!!

oh, and cat drool washes away quilting marker!!
