Oh No!!

Dear Lord save me---I just checked soscrappy and the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for February is PURPLE!  January's color was pink and I struggled through pink cake stands and quilting the pink horror.   Purple is my least favorite color to work with.  I am doomed!

just think~if pink and purple are your hardest colors to sew with...then the rest of the year should be FUN FUN FUN! with all the other colors! :)

I cut out a pink quilt from a pattern I saw on the net somewhere. I realize now that it was from someone's So Scrappy Jan. challenge. I'm not involved in that but maybe I'll cut out a purple one for this month. Hmm, maybe I'll follow along and see what I can use up.

I was never one for purple either, until my granddaughter was born...she loves purple everything! I have made purple quilts and clothing and jammies and purses.

Then I guess you can never be a Red Hat Lady can you??? Because they wear purple & red. Yes, I know that must be an unbearable thought! :) I like purple and still don't want to be one. My favorite shade of purple is what's called "orchid" and I've been seeing a lot of it lately. One of my library patrons has a jacket that color....and when she took off her jacket she was wearing a sweatshirt in the same shade! If I thought they might have fit me she might have left the library in her undies!!! hehehehe

I'm not all that fond of pink or purple either and have none in my stash. I just don't buy fabrics in those colors at all.

You will do fine, your quilts always look great!

If you find any purple lurking in odd corners, send it to me! In my stash, I much prefer it over pink (shudder)!

I have an aversion to YELLOW but I am overcoming it. Surprised both myself and my friends by painting the new addition all a light shade of yellow. Even so, I still have to work to incorporate more that a touch.

Keep a stiff upper lip and carry on! YOu know it is going to work out for the best. You have never posted an ugly quilt. (Are you hiding them???)
