More Scrap Happy Blocks

Saturday, September 6, 2008
Not very exciting around here. Me, the dishwasher and the laundry. Ho-hum. I have been sewing, and have a few items Laura Beth asked me to bring to the hospital. I did make 24 more scrap happy blocks, and I am pleased with how fast they go together.

I think the yellow is starting to disappear, I have some golds and pumpkins I will add in as I go. I think when it gets put together with the sashing (beige/tan TOT) it will quiet down quite a bit. I am picking up some fast food to take to the hospital for Laura Beth, I think she is tired of the nutritious hospital food.

I like those colors, and the yellow adds a bit of interest, I think! The blocks remind me of a free internet pattern that's no longer available--Wicked Easy--only there are fewer pieces in the one I did.

So are they coming home tomorrow?

Does look very nice and I can't wait to see it with the sashing and 'punctuation marks' which is how I think of cornerstones in sashing.

Yep, the yellow isn't jumping out at me anymore. This is looking great - funny how that happens during the quilt making progress.

Love your blocks. Is hospital food nutritous? It always does horrid things to my system.

Great blocks! The yellows and reds seem to balance each other in this pic, and the blues and greens are visible, so I'd say you're getting the numbers just right.
