March 2, 1920 - June 15, 2012
I've been reading through previous posts with my Dad in them, and this post from April 12, 2010 is my favorite.

I love and miss you Dad.

Lori - I am so sorry for your loss. We miss our parents no matter what age they pass away. I lost both of my parent over 20 years ago but still miss them. May your happy memories keep him in your heart.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Lori. Went back and read the post you indicated. My mom was 92 1/2 when she passed away and I've often thought of all the things she saw in her lifetime.

That's such a great picture of your Dad in the post. Hale & hearty with a happy wave. A good way to remember him.

what a great photo to send your dad off! So sorry for your loss. I lost my dad a few years back and I never thought that I would miss him as much as I did this year.

I remember that day very well. I got grilled on farming and ranching in the islands, had to call my husband with a couple of questions.

John said he would like to go see for himself but he didn't think he could stand to sit for 5-1/2 hours. That is the longest leg in the trip over the Pacific but the whole journey home usually takes close to 20 hours with the changes and layovers!

I would like to point out that was all his own hair! He was a lovely man and I will miss him too. A lot.

Oh Lori - I am so sorry - the photo of him brings tears to my eyes - it's beautiful!!! We don't get over it. How wonderful that you have lovely memories of him. I STILL cannot think of my Dad without getting all tearful and he's been gone almost 40 years. Hugs coming your way.
